THE STORY OF YW
A CHOSEN GENERATION LIVING FOR CHRIST
Since its inception in 2023, the YW movement has had a clear goal: to call students from campuses all over the world to live for what matters most – Jesus. It started as a worship group, but it has now grown into a movement that is set to surprise the world.
We believe that God is creating a powerful army of young worshippers. We are proud to call ourselves change agents, fully committed to fulfilling this divine purpose with all our hearts.
What We Believe
At Young Worshippers (YW), we believe in the Bible and the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and will return for us.
VISION
Our vision is to create a global community of young worshippers who will worship fervently and stand boldly for God's glory, igniting a wave of revival that transforms lives and impacts the world.
MISSION
Our mission is to empower young people to discover their unique purpose in God's ministry and become world changers.
Through events and outreach programs at campuses and community centers, we provide opportunities for young people to fellowship freely, connect with peers, and find supportive fellowships and churches to nurture their faith journey.

LEADING THE MOVEMENT
Victor Abengowe is the founder of the Young Worshippers (YW). He was part of a worship group called the Young Worshippers Crew in Nigeria, which was started by Tabitha Gbuyiro.
Even though the group disbanded, Victor was determined not to let the vision die. With God showing him the bigger picture, he started YWC in Memphis, TN, which grew from just a worship group to a vibrant movement.
Victor is passionate about his generation and the next generation, and he is dedicated to seeing what God will do through the movement.
He is a businessman, creative director, coffee lover, and music fanatic who sings and plays several instruments.
